My friend and I flew West Jet’s Boeing 737-800 series to San Diego in September 2016. We flew Economy Plus which is West Jet’s equivalent to business class. We found seats very comfortable and they serve you lots of food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages. Cabin crew were very attentive and friendly. The weather in San Diego is consistently warm and mild. They get approximately 10 days of rain a year. We stayed at Westin in downtown San Diego. It is close to little Italy where you find shops, very good Italian restaurants and a variety of other restaurants you can choose from. We went for dinner at Ruth’s Chris Steak House which is located at the Harbour Drive location. It was the best steak house I have ever been to. The steak was so tender that it melts in your mouth. Servers were very cordial. Night life is located in the Gaslamp quarter where they have high end bars and night clubs. We also went to SeaWorld San Diego where you can see Dolphins and Whale shows. It was a very interactive and informative experience. They also had rides i.e. roller coaster. We also went to Coronado Beach which is located in Coronado, California. Hotel Del Coronado is a Hotel/Resort located right at the beach where many Presidents have stayed over the years. At the end of the trip we did sight-seeing on hop on hop off bus tour with a company called Old Town Trolley. They also have tours in different cities i.e. Boston, Washington DC and Chicago.
