Jojo Concert At The Showbox Theatre

Hello everyone,
I recently went to Jojo’s concert at the Showbox theatre in Seattle. There was a very lively atmosphere. It was a sold out show. It showed that her fans never left her even though she was away from the music scene for a long time. It was a second show of the American leg of her Mad Love tour. The tour kicked off in Portland on February 15th, 2017.
I had a and greet ticket so I got to meet Jojo before the show. She performed a live acoustic version of “Honest” that song was not on the set list. She also did Q&A with fans that had meet and greet tickets. I asked her what her favourite song off the album was. She said that it was Edibles.
Her opening act on the American tour is Stanaj. He was a great vocalist. He played about five songs before Jojo hit the stage. She opened the show with a song called “Clovers” from her new album. She performed songs from early 2000s when she first came on the scene such as “Leave (Get Out)” and “Too Little Too Late”. She performed ballads before energizing the crowd with more dance music from her latest album Mad Love.
Overall, it was an amazing show. The tour is happening through May 26th. The last show will be in Lawrence, Kansas. She also added six Canadian dates in May. I am going to another Meet and Greet in Vancouver. Can’t wait!!
