Today, The 22 year Old Mega-Star from Spain Carlos Alcaraz Won his Second US Open Title! In a somewhat dominant victory over the the 24 year old Italian Jannik Sinner! In four sets 6-2 -3-6 6-1 6-4. This was Carlitos Alcaraz 6th Grand Slam Title overall Who is also a Mega- Star in his own right! Jannik already has 4 Grand Slam Titles to his name! 2 Australian Open Title’s. One Wimbledon Title and One US Open! This was 15th meeting on the ATP Tour with Carlos now leading 10-5 as of Today’s Big victory! Carlos also has the head to head edge in Grand Slam meetings 4-2 Today’s Final was attended by the Honourable President Donald Trump! This was the first time in 10 years that President Trump was in attendance! Therefore it started thirty minutes late as security measures had to be put in place. Carlitos as he affectionally known got off to a flyer dominating Jannik winning the first set 6-2 Keeping Sinner on the Back foot dictating the vast majority of the points from the baseline Carlos volleyed incredibly well. In my humble opinion his net game is level above Jannik’s. The Italian fought back to take the second set 6-3 Sinner’s movement was a bit better in set 2 but to be he looked a step slow He had less (MPH) Miles Per Hour on his serve. Also his first serve was a bit down. You can get away with that against Canadian Superstar Felix Auger Aliasimme. Who took Jannik to 4 sets in the Semi Finals in a Three And Half Hour Tussle. That being said Felix played the match of his life and still lost Sinner! I digress enough about Felix, back to the match! Carlitos Alcaraz came back to life in the 3rd set wining some magical points taking the third set by a score of 6-1! Stephen Curry was definitely in awe of Carlos on court Wizardry! The fourth set was more evenly matched with only one break separating the two young tennis legends The Spaniard took the fourth set 6-4 needing only that decisive break to seal the Victory! Carlitos has become second youngest player in Open Era at 22 years old and just 125 days Behind only Sweedish Legend Bjorn Borg at 22 years old And just 19 days. May this great Rivalry Continue for Many Years too come!!!!
