Hey guys,
The Toronto Raptors are fresh off a home win 131-128 over the Golden State Warriors in overtime up in Toronto. in front of a ruckus crowd. The Raptors 20-4, This fastest they have 20 wins in there twenty three year history. They currently have best record in the NBA just past the quarter mark of the season. There win on Thursday against the champions from East Bay from over there in Oakland. It Was definitely a benchmark win, for the big bad dinosaurs, from the north in my humble opinion. They aren’t the baby Dinosaurs anymore! It was a nationally televised game on TNT, in the U.S. It was the best game of this young NBA from start to finish. Despite the fact Stephen Curry and Draymond Green were not playing for Golden State. Make no mistake they are still highest powered offense in the league today even without Curry and Green in the lineup. People forget that they still got Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson. Klay earlier in the season scored 52 points in just three quarters. In a blowout win against the Chicago Bulls he astonishingly played only a mere 26 minutes in the game. and scored a record breaking 14 three’s on 24 attempts. A record previously held by his Splash Brother teammate Stephen Curry. But this night belonged Kevin Durant absolutely lighting it up dropping 51 points. on the Raptors in 43 minutes of play. Kevin Durant Klay Thompson Stephen Curry, are the first 3 teammates since the 1961- 1962 Lakers to each score 50 or more points in a single game. The Raptors ended up winning the game solely because of Kawhi Leonard The Claw. He had his best game as a Raptor. Scoring 37 points adding 8 rebounds and 3 assists. I know it seems like 51 points is a lot of points and it is. But to the millions of people that were watching the game across North America. Like me thought he would of scored 70, If Kawhi wasn’t guarding him. Kawhi is the former defensive player of the year, Finals MVP, not to mention the best two way player in the game today. Not very often Durant was shut down and he scored over 50 points.. haha. The emerging superstar Pascal Siakam added a career high 26 points. The floor general for Toronto Kyle Lowry had a near triple double putting up 10 points 12 assists and 8 rebounds Serge Ibaka added 20 points. The Raptors depth is unmatched in my opinion. They are the deepest team in the league. They play the Warriors again on December 12th in the East Bay. I can’t wait for the rematch at Oracle Arena. I believe untimely this will be in the words of Klay Thompson!… A preview of June!…
